Fairview receives donation of adaptive equipment from Pfizer, Inc.

GROTON –Fairview, Odd Fellows Home of Connecticut received a generous donation of adaptive equipment from Pfizer.  On Tuesday, March 3rd, Pfizer presented Fairview with a supply of the following; key turners, button hooks, zipper pulls, bag carriers with grips, vegetable peeler, cheese graders, foil pack pill openers and prescription bottle openers.   These will be available to independent living residents of Fairview, as well as those who are at Fairview for long term care.  Additionally these items will be available for those at Fairview for short term rehabilitation and will assist these individuals with maintaining their independence as they go back home. “Fairview has enjoyed a tradition of caring since 1892.  We appreciate the generosity and kindness of Pfizer in helping our residents enjoy their best lives.” Said Billy Nelson, Executive Director for Fairview.
